Bio

Chris Lane has been fishing professionally since 2000, but his tournament fishing goes back to when he was just a boy and would have family tournaments between his dad, grandfather, and his brothers Bobby and Arnie Lane.

Chris is known on the B.A.S.S. tour for his topwater style. He travels all over the United States competing in B.A.S.S. Elite Series events and B.A.S.S. opens as well as various other tournaments. Chris has a great team in place which has allowed him to stay focused and improve exposure. In 2011 alone, Chris had three top 12 finishes in the BASSMaster Elite Series and finished 12th overall for the season, earning a ticket to the BassMaster Classic in Shreveport, LA in 2012. He also ranked 6th in the BASSMaster Southern Open.

He is a member of the Lakeland Bassmasters and Tampa Bay Bassmasters and gives back to the community through a number of organizations that help teach children about fishing. In the past he has participated in Get Reel tournaments, Angel Angler Hospital visits, and done various Outdoor Expos.

Chris Lane lives with his wife and three children in Guntersville, Alabama. Originally from Central Florida he made the move in 2009, giving him a more central location to travel from, allowing him to spend less time on the road.

Chris Lane hosted his first annual kids fishing camp, Reeling in Future Pros at Lake Guntersville, AL in 2009. His strong personal values keep him focused on giving back to his community and the fishing industry.
