Warranties

All Star warrants to the original purchaser that its rods are free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1), three (3), or five (5) years from the date of purchase, depending upon the model. Some models are eligible for a limited lifetime warranty from the date of purchase. All Star is not responsible for normal wear and tear, nor failures caused by accidents, abuse, alteration, modification, misuse, or improper care. This applies to rods purchased separately or as a combo unit.

All Star rods are available exclusively through Academy Sports + Outdoors. If you purchased your rod at Academy Sports + Outdoors and have experienced a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we recommend that you take it to your local Academy retail location for replacement. If you do not have a retail location nearby, please continue reading to learn about your warranty replacement options from All Star.

If your rod was purchased at a retailer other than Academy Sports + Outdoors and you have experienced a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will be happy to replace it with a new rod of the same model, or a comparable model. Prior to replacement, All Star will inspect your rod to determine the nature of the defect.

Please send the following items to AllStar@purefishing.com. These easy steps will help us take care of your warranty claim as efficiently as possible:

  1. Photograph of rod clearly showing brand and model (information located directly above the handle)
  2. Photograph clearly showing the broken area(s) of the rod
  3. Copy of the dated receipt or proof of purchase
  4. A brief description of how your rod broke
  5. Your mailing address and a daytime contact number

Rods falling under the one (1), three (3), or five (5) year warranty will be replaced for a processing fee of $9.95 US or $10.95 CAD. Rods falling under the limited lifetime warranty will be replaced for a processing fee of $20.00 US/CAD. We will contact you directly to take payment, which can be made by phone via credit card. In the event your rod is no longer manufactured or is currently unavailable, we will give you a call to discuss your replacement options. Rods that do not qualify for warranty may also be submitted for a discounted replacement. Please contact us directly for details.
