All Star rods are the rods of choice for America’s serious, competitive anglers. Each rod is manufactured using the finest materials and components available. We know that the people who are committed to the sport of fishing expect unmatched quality when they purchase an All Star rod. Each rod is designed to meet anglers’ specific needs from coast to coast, no matter what the particular fishing application is.
Our freshwater rods feature lightweight graphite blanks that can sense the lightest touch and deliver unequaled power and cast control.
Our inshore and offshore rods have corrosion-resistant components that can handle the stress and pressure of saltwater fishing.
How Our Rods Are Made
So what makes an All Star rod different from the others? It’s the things you can’t see that make these rods lighter, more balanced, stronger, and easier to fish with. We here at All Star take pride in making premier graphite rods. Every stage of rod construction is done by hand – from wrapping the graphite around mandrels that have been designed to give the exact action you need, to sanding and coating them. We take pride in knowing that every rod that leaves the All Star factory has been checked, flexed, tested, and approved.
Our Manufacturing Process
Making a quality graphite rod is a lot like building a house. You have to make sure you have the right materials and you have to put them together in the right sequence – paying special attention to the details. We use the highest quality graphite materials available combined with our exclusive resins to create the perfect balance of sensitivity, flexibility, and stiffness. Only the highest quality components, like Fuji® guides and reels seats, as well as top grade cork are used on of our rods. Our design team ensures all the guides are spaced according to the action and power rating of the rod. All of the parts work together to create the ultimate fishing rod.
Expert Design Combined With Diligent Quality Control
Our design team has years of experiences and achieves the best action for each particular fishing application. Our manufacturing team is highly trained and experienced in blank and rod construction and is monitored by our diligent quality control team. Our rods are built at a technologically advanced facility by a dedicated group of employees who love to fish and take pride in their craft.
Rods Pros Love
We have chosen a Pro for our staff who is one of the most successful in America, Darren Gallaher – an angler who knows a superior quality rod made with excellent craftsmanship when he uses it. He has helped us create rods that have the exact actions for specific fishing situations, from wading for redfish, to casting for bass.
